Tanjore Sambar Podi recipe
Sambar Masala is a not only a staple in South-Indian bones, but also in every kitchen today. I am sharing this authentic sambar masala recipe that I learned from my granny. Sambar is traditionally made by grinding fresh coconut masalas, but in today fast life it's difficult to grind fresh masals each time, so this masala can save the time and yet we can enjoy having tasty sambar!

💨Ingredients:
 Makes 1 kg
      ·       500 grams Coriander seeds
      ·       50 grams Fenugreek seeds
      ·       25 grams Black pepper pods
      ·       250 grams Dry red chillies
      ·       50 grams Chana dal
      ·       50 grams Udad dal
      ·       50 grams Toor dal
      ·       100 grams Whole Turmeric broken

💨Method:
1.Dry roast all the ingredients separately till they become crunchy.
2.Cool them and grind to fine powder.
3.Use one to two teaspoon of this Sambar masala if making sambar for 4-5 people.
      4. Store in an airtight container with a proper seal. I always keep a small batch in my pantry, for daily use, and keep the rest of it in airtight jar!😋😋
